Table is an annual food, travel and lifestyle magazine based in the United Kingdom.

With each issue we aim to celebrate the people shaping our food culture as well as the community. Accompanying these stories there will be a curated selection of travel + design features, recipes, restaurant highlights and thought provoking essays.

The even bigger and better Volume 09 is here.

In this first shift from bi-annual magazine to a more thoughtful, in-depth annual publication, we bring you a myriad of stories to slow down and savour. This book is a keepsake of memories, conversations and imagination to keep you company over quiet mornings, cups of coffee, or long, lazy afternoons. But, more than that, a lovingly designed piece to treasure for life.

Titled "Something Familiar" to reflect the meditative and reflective tone of this edition - a collection of stories that ask for pause and contemplation in a way that feels comforting and intimate. Such as "The Food of Love" by Mina Holland, which explores how returning to cooking offered solace and salvation whilst navigating the weight of daughter's rare diagnosis. Or "Girl Dinner" by Hannah Crosbie and Sophie Wyburd, which captures those meandering, delicious conversations that unfold between two friends, where everything from world politics to the latest celebrity gossip is explored and solved over a bottle of wine. Alongside, an interview with Santiago Lastra by Anna van Dyk, where the chef shares his passion to put Mexico's visionary flare for design and art at the centre of London's hospitality scene. In addition, Jasmin Jelley spends an hour with restaurant Camille's Elliot Hashtroudi discussing the his deep-rooted belief in the power of whole animal butchery and nose-to-tail cooking.

More slow tales in this bumper edition.
