Shipping & Delivery
How long does shipping take?
Delivery times vary by destination.
- Germany: usually 2–3 business days
- EU: usually 2–5 business days
- UK: usually 3–5 business days
- International: typically 7–14 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs procedures or carrier delays.

Do you ship magazines within the EU?
Yes. I ship magazines to all EU countries. Delivery times and shipping costs vary by destination and are shown at checkout.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of your order and the destination country. The exact cost is shown at checkout before payment or on my Shipping page.
Do you provide tracking for all orders?
Most parcels are shipped with tracking. The default shipping method for small domestic orders within Germany is letter mail without tracking. Customers can choose a tracked shipping option during checkout. For international orders, tracked and untracked options may be available depending on destination and weight.
Are your shipments climate-neutral?
Yes. All shipments are sent climate-neutral with DHL GoGreen. I also use protective packaging materials, including bubble wrap made from recycled plastic, to ensure books and magazines arrive safely.
Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
For orders shipped outside the EU, customs duties or import taxes may apply depending on the destination country.
For orders shipped to the United States, all applicable duties, taxes, and handling fees are included in the shipping cost. No additional charges are due upon delivery.
For all other non-EU destinations, any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices or shipping costs.
Products & Availability
Are all magazines available immediately?
Most magazines are in stock and ready to ship. Some items are offered as pre-orders and will ship once released. In those cases, the product page will clearly indicate “Preorder now” instead of “Add to cart”.
Are magazines restocked once sold out?
Many magazines are produced in relatively small print runs and are available only in limited quantities. Once a current issue is sold out, it may not be restocked.
If a sold-out issue becomes available again, you can sign up for an email notification directly on the product page using the “Email me when available” option.
How long are older magazine issues available?
Availability varies. Many magazines are produced in small print runs and may sell out quickly.
Older issues (back issues) are available while stocks last. For well-received titles, selected back issues may be reordered or restocked when available, as there is ongoing interest from collectors.
Do you offer magazine subscriptions?
Yes. For selected magazines, subscriptions are available.
Some subscriptions can be purchased directly on the product page when buying the current issue. In addition, you can find all regularly available subscriptions on our dedicated subscription page.
Which magazines do you carry with a focus on Japan or Tokyo?
I regularly carry a curated selection of magazines from Japan, including titles such as Popeye, Brutus, Casa BRUTUS, Men’s FUDGE, GO OUT, among others.
Availability depends on current releases and stock, as many Japanese magazines are imported in limited quantities.
Are the magazines in German or English?
Most magazines are published in English or in their original language (for example Japanese).
German-language magazines are available for selected titles.
The publication language is always stated on the product page.
Are the magazines new or second-hand?
All magazines and books sold in the shop are new and unread unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Are the magazines original editions?
Yes. All magazines are original publisher editions.
I do not sell reprints or unofficial reproductions.
Returns & Exchanges
Can I return my order?
The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies to books and to pre-orders (including pre-orders of magazines).
Single-issue magazines that are delivered immediately and are not part of a subscription may be excluded from the right of withdrawal under §312g (2) No. 7 BGB, as they qualify as periodical publications.
This does not affect your statutory rights in case of damaged or defective items.
How do I process a return?

Pricing
Why do prices vary across EU countries?
Prices vary depending on your country’s local VAT rate. I apply the EU One-Stop Shop (OSS) system to ensure compliance with EU tax regulations and to display the correct final price for your location.
Payment
Which payment methods do you accept?
I accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Klarna, and additional payment methods depending on your region.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. All payments are processed via secure, encrypted connections.
In which currency are prices shown?
When you visit our shop, your country is automatically detected and prices are displayed in your local currency where available.
For customers within the EU, prices include the applicable local VAT.
All prices are based on the applicable EU base price and are converted accordingly.
Your bank or payment provider may still apply its own exchange rate or fees depending on the payment method used.
