LOVE Magazine – Number 27: Is That All There Is?

LOVE is a Paris-based biannual fashion and culture magazine combining ambitious photography, journalism and a deliberately broad view of contemporary creativity.

Number 27, “Is That All There Is?”, takes luxury as its starting point — not simply as wealth or consumption, but as a question of who gets access to time, attention, freedom and comfort. The issue asks what luxury means now, and whether there might be something more valuable beyond its conventional definitions.

The six covers reflect that broad approach, featuring Grand Theft Auto VI characters Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, Young Miko, UN special rapporteur Francesca Albanese, models Alex Consani and Anok Yai, Lauryn Hill and Italian musician Ghali.

Inside, Anupama Chopra looks at the extravagant interiors of Bollywood cinema, stylist Lara McGrath discusses transforming inexpensive pieces into runway-worthy looks, and Selma Nouri explores ideas around longevity. Artist Anicka Yi and designer Mindy Seu consider attention, technological literacy and the ability to remain present as increasingly scarce forms of luxury.

Founded in 2009 by Katie Grand, LOVE returned to print in 2025 as an independent magazine under the creative direction of Juan Costa Paz and Nordine Benotmane of Paris-based agency Convoy. Fashion remains central, but the relaunched magazine also moves through art, politics, technology, health, film and wider culture.
