Little White Lies – Issue 114: The Her Private Hell Issue

Little White Lies is a London-based film magazine combining cinema criticism, interviews, illustration and graphic design. Established in 2005, it is published as a bimonthly print magazine and is known for treating each issue as a fully illustrated deep dive into one central film, alongside reviews, interviews and broader film culture.

Issue 114 is dedicated to Nicolas Winding Refn’s new cyberpunk slasher film Her Private Hell. The issue enters the dark, stylised world of the film through an in-depth review, an interview with Refn, and conversations with its two stars, Sophie Thatcher and Charles Melton. 

Alongside the main feature, the issue includes the magazine’s usual mix of interviews, reviews and list-led film writing, including a conversation with Belgian giallo-horror directing duo Bruno Forzani and Hélène Cattet.
