Glou Glou is french for glug glug. An irreverent, word-of-mouth travel guide to wine which focuses on natural wine culture and the stories of winemakers.
Welcome to the North of the South of France.
The seventh issue of Glou Glou is an exploration of the wine movement in the Ardèche, emanating from a small coterie of vignerons in and around the village of Valvignères—literally, the “valley of the vines.”
From its nascent beginnings in the 1980s to present day, the story follows the oral histories of the seminal figures who have created and fostered the community there, all beautifully shot over the course of five years through the lenses of Sam Youkilis and Jake Lindeman and illustrated by Anatole Zangs.
We invite you along for a trip through the sights and sounds of this remote, radiant corner of France.
