Maquis is an independent magazine that celebrates a beautiful, authentic and wild Corsica off the beaten track. A unique vision of Corsica through insider places, wild nature, inspiring landscapes, island traditions and local gastronomy captured by talented contributors.
Landing in Calvi to admire the village of Sant'Antonino on its hill and the unspoiled bay of Crovani. Stroll on the Aldilonda which fits perfectly with the Bastia coast and local and reasoned break in the Nebbiu vegetable garden. We then climb up to admire the purity of Asco's snow-capped mountains, soak up the life spent in Muna and look up at the starry sky, far from the light pollution. Finally, descent to the south of the island to enjoy the natural pools of Purcaraccia, admire the limestone sculpted by time in Pertusatu and finish in Tizzano with its air of the end of the world. The route is punctuated by intoxicating walks, suspended moments, and emblematic stages.
