To celebrate the 10th anniversary of her major debut, we traveled with Aimyon to Australia—the true home of the koala. The latest issue of *Casa BRUTUS* covers this journey in depth, featuring her on the cover and across a 15-page special report.

Our first stop with Aimyon was Taronga Zoo, located on a hill across the bay from downtown Sydney. Boasting a long history that dates back to its opening in 1916, the zoo is renowned for its rich collection of native Australian species—with koalas standing out as the undisputed favorites. Aimyon, too, has fallen under their spell.
We were also amazed to discover that Taronga Zoo features an on-site luxury hotel called the "Wildlife Retreat," where guests in certain rooms can gaze at the animals right through their windows. "The koalas I see on social media are just so adorable! Since this year marks the 10th anniversary of my major debut, I was determined to go meet them in their home country. On top of that, the chance to actually stay overnight at the zoo—it was like a dream come true; I was truly moved. I was also struck by the way the keepers interacted with the animals—it was so casual, like asking, 'How are you feeling today?' It was just like watching a conversation between two Australians."
Aimyon was deeply impressed by the keepers' gaze and the way they communicated with the animals.

Next, she visited Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on the Gold Coast. This park skillfully creates habitats for animals while preserving the natural terrain and vegetation. She was thrilled to encounter not just koalas and kangaroos, but a wide variety of unique species native to Australia and Oceania!
She also took a special tour of the adjacent Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, an experience that gave her a new perspective.

"Of course, the animals are all 'so cute.' But both Taronga Zoo and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary are tackling aspects of animal care that go far beyond just 'cuteness'—they operate with a genuine sense of mission. That really surprised me and taught me so much. Sometimes, when I see news on social media about a young animal dying, I find myself wondering, 'Was there something I could have done?' I feel that, as humans, we have a responsibility to protect animals. After what I learned on this trip, I want to deepen my understanding—not just of the love and affection I feel for these cute creatures, but also of how humans and animals can coexist."

Please take a look at this special feature, which is packed with Aimyon's heartfelt thoughts on koalas and animals.
